5 Hacks To Help You Get To the Gym

Sometimes getting to the gym can be a pain. We always have great intentions of going, but then at the last minute we always come up with a reason not to go. Thankfully, I’ve found a few hacks along the way that help me. Hopefully they can help you too! Make sure to scroll to the bottom of this post to watch the video!

Put Your Shoes By The Door.

No matter if it’s your running shoes, your workout shoes, whichever shoes you use to workout… When you leave your shoes by the door you’ll have a constant reminder throughout the day that you need to go. Then, when it comes time to leave, you can just slip them on and head out the door!

Leave Water Bottle In Fridge Overnight.

Filling up your water bottle the day or night before you go to the gym will take the hassle out of doing it right beforehand. When you leave it in the fridge overnight it will get nice and cold – perfect when you’re working up a sweat at the gym! Anyone else a huge fan of super cold water?

Pick out Clothes Beforehand.

Another hack is to pick your clothes out beforehand. This could be the night before or even the morning of your workout. Having your clothes already laid out and ready to go means that when it is time to work out, you can just grab them, change, and be on your merry way.

Pack your Gym Bag.

Not only is it useful to have your gym bag packed before you go, it’s also a great motivator! When you have a fun gym bag filled with your favorite things it can help get you pumped up to get to the gym. I always make sure to pack my favorite earbuds and a fun towel!

Set An Alarm & Schedule.

Setting an alarm is key. Not only is this a great reminder to get to the gym, but I love changing the label & music on the alarm to help get me pumped up and in the right mindset to workout. Also, working out at the same time every day helps to build a habit, making it easier to go to the gym when you really don’t want to.
