I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… I love grocery shopping! Something about seeing all the different products lined up, just gets me. I could spend hours in a regular grocery store, but today we’re talking about a brand new grocery store that’s opening tomorrow morning!

Fresh Organic Produce.

Fresh organic produce is my jam and Albertsons Market Street has it all. No joke. Their produce section is huge and they have an expansive variety of exotic fruits and veggies.

Better yet, if you’re in a rush they have a section of pre-chopped veggies. Grab the perfect amount that you need and save yourself the time of chopping it all.

I love to cook (and probably spend too much time in my kitchen) so having the ability to stop by Albertsons Market Street on my way home from work and pick up a hard-to-find produce item is pretty much the best part of my day.

Beer & Wine.

I will say, along with produce, I love to try new wines. Albertsons Market Street has the largest Beer and Wine selection in the state of Idaho. Yes, you heard that right!

When I stop by the store to pick up my fun fruits and veggies I can grab a bottle of wine to pair with my dinner and a new beer for my Fiance to try.

There’s even a bar (Talon Tap & Spirits Bar) that you can stop by if you’re wanting to hang out for a bit. They make some delicious cocktails!

International Cuisines.

I said I like to cook right? Recently I’ve been branching out and have been trying more international cuisine. So to my awe, I found multiple aisles dedicated to foods from around the world.

Fresh Artisan Breads.

Freshly baked bread is my weakness and luckily Albertsons Market Street has a wide variety of artisan options. The one I’m holding is pickles and sauerkraut!

Plus, if you’re a fan of tortillas you’ll be happy to know that this Albertsons location has fresh tortillas made in-store!! If you go to the bakery counter, you can see them being made. It’s mesmerizing.

Nuts on Clark Popcorn.

While you’re hanging out in the bakery area, you won’t be able to miss the smell of freshly popped popcorn. Nuts on Clark has their own dedicated Popcorn kiosk inside Albertsons Market Street. Can you say YUM?!

Beautiful Cakes.

And on your way to the Nuts on Clark popcorn stand you won’t be able to miss the beautiful display of specialty cakes and pies.

These deserts and pieces of art! Albertsons employees award-winning cake decorators and they frequently make custom cakes.

Extra Cheese.

Although I don’t eat cheese myself, I couldn’t help but point out their massive cheese selection! They have hundreds of cheeses to choose from, including in-store made mozzarella.

Fresh Flowers.

While picking up last-minute items for dinner I suggest you head to the floral department. There’s nothing better than having fresh flowers in your home – especially as we start to approach warmer weather!

The floral department has a large variety of locally grown and tropical flowers to choose from.

Opening Tomorrow.

Albertsons Market Street (3499 E. Fairview Ave., Meridian, ID) is opening to the public on Saturday, March 9th at 10am.
