Batiste Dry Shampoo

Discovering this little bottle of wonder has changed my life! A few YouTubers introduced me to Batiste Dry Shampoo (Jaclyn HillTati, Casey Holmes) and I’m so  happy they did! Before trying Batiste I had used Dove, but often felt that it didn’t quite get the job done. I had also been having issues with the can and it not spraying correctly. I started using Batiste Dry Shampoo about a year ago and I don’t think I’ll be changing brands any time soon! 🙂

I used to wash my hair daily, which is extremely drying and ultimately detrimental to your hair’s health. But if I ever tried to skip washing my hair for a day or two it would end up as one big ball of oily greasiness. Ew. Then Batiste Dry Shampoo walked into my life and it’s been love ever since!

IMG_6211I don’t frequently do this, but I’ve gone as long as six days without washing my hair. SIX DAYS! Now, it was getting a little crazy by the end of it, but it wasn’t terribly gross. I typically will wash my hair every 4 days or so. The formula keeps my hair looking new for 4 days!

The thing I like most about Batiste Dry Shampoo is that they have color options. Most dry shampoos are white and when you have dark hair you see it. Batiste offers a dark brown shade, among others, and it works phenomenal on my hair. I also love that they offer different scents! Sometimes dry shampoo can smell down right disgusting, but I’ve never had that problem with Batiste.

Tip: Apply dry shampoo at night before bed. This allows the dry shampoo to soak up any oils that your hair produces at night. You’ll be left feeling fresh and ready to go as soon as you wake up!

Currently I’m using both the Floral Essences scent and Dark & Deep brown shade of their dry shampoos. I usually can find Batiste Dry Shampoos on Ulta’s Website or in store. The prices range from $3.99 to $8.99 (they have travel sizes available). There is also a link to find where to purchase their dry shampoo on Batiste’s Website.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post and had a fabulous 4th of July!
