Sean and I will have spent the last 5 Valentine’s days together this year. And funny enough, each one seems to be different in their own unique way. For Valentine’s Day this year we’re staying home and making ourselves a special dinner. (We love to cook.)
We decided to head to our favorite local grocery store, Albertsons on Broadway, to pick up a few key ingredients and some special treats. They always have everything we need – especially for Valentine’s Day. While shopping we were pleasantly surprised to learn that they were offering some fun events and the one that piqued our interest the most was the Cooking Class for Two! (There are details at the bottom of this post). Even better is that they’ll be having live music next week!

For our special Valentine’s Day dinner we decided to go with a Plated meal kit. We love to use Albertsons’ Plated meal kits because they help us to get out of our comfort zone and try new cuisines. Plus they’re great for when you’re short on time!

Sean kindly suggested that we stop by the Floral Department. He’s always treated me to a bouquet of flowers every Valentine’s Day and this year seems to be no different. Plus, when you buy a dozen flowers you’ll get half off a Plated Meal Kit!

I was blown away, by not only the sheer amount of flowers that the Albertsons on Broadway has, but also the variety. There were so many colors and types to choose from.
Chocolates, wine, soft teddy bears, and delicious food, Albertsons on Broadway has it all no matter who you’re sharing your love with this Valentine’s Day.
