Coronavirus Diary: Day 6

This is a reflection of my own personal experience as a twenty-something living in Idaho – one of the last states to get their first confirmed case of COVID-19. Please listen to the national, state, and local guidelines that are being communicated in your area.

Saturday, March 21st

Not going to lie, I definitely woke up today with a headache from those wine slushies. I spent the majority of the morning lounging on the couch, drinking coffee, and playing Animal Crossing.

The last couple of days I’ve been trying to place a grocery order for Whole Foods Delivery with no luck. I think they’re opening up the time slots in small increments. Around noon I was able to get an order placed to be delivered between 8-10 pm tonight. I mentioned earlier this week how we had enough food to get us through 2 weeks, but I worry that we’re going to go into a full lockdown and I would like to be as prepared as possible. Our area (at this moment) isn’t getting hit very hard, but I feel like it’s coming – the fact that we aren’t in a full lockdown already is a bit unnerving. When you think about how the virus is transmitted and how we can be symptom-free for two weeks is crazy – think about how many people you could unintentionally infect.

Today’s Activities:

  • Play Animal Crossing
  • Order Groceries
  • Clean Bathroom
  • Workout & Go on a Walk
  • Freelance Work

Stay safe everyone!!
