Coronavirus Diary: Day 7

This is a reflection of my own personal experience as a twenty-something living in Idaho – one of the last states to get their first confirmed case of COVID-19. Please listen to the national, state, and local guidelines that are being communicated in your area.

Sunday, March 22nd

Today was a PJ all-day kinda day. I spent the better half of the morning playing Animal Crossing on the Switch and enjoying my coffee. This afternoon I spent some time filming a video for my YouTube channel, doing some laundry, and prepping food for the next few days.

We’ve both been super conscious about the food we have on hand and making sure nothing goes to waste. We had a few potatoes that were about to go off so we roasted them up and are set for the week. I also made one of my all-time favorites dishes – Mushroom & Leek Risotto.

I also watched a bit of the Press Briefing that The President had today. I’ve been trying to keep up with the news – there’s always something changing or a new update. As we’ve been bombarded with a constant flow of Coronavirus updates I’ve been also been trying not to get overwhelmed by it all.

Today’s Activities:

  • Play Animal Crossing
  • Film a YouTube Video
  • Wash Laundry
  • Prep Food

All-in-all I feel like this weekend went pretty smoothly and I hope that this next week feels the same.

Stay healthy,
Hayle
