Coronavirus Diary: Day 9

This is a reflection of my own personal experience as a twenty-something living in Idaho – one of the last states to get their first confirmed case of COVID-19. Please listen to the national, state, and local guidelines that are being communicated in your area.

Tuesday, March 24th 4:40PM

Day nine of self-isolation flew by as a productive workday. I was a bit lazy getting out of bed this morning because I stayed up too late last night.

Per my own advice, I took a mid-day break and spent some time practicing my Spanish with DuoLingo. One of my goals is to visit Peru within the next couple of years so in reality I really do need to brush up on my language skills.

I took a few minutes later today to snap some pictures of my planner for my Planner Instagram account. Decorating my planner is a fun hobby of mine. Last week was an odd one to document, but I still felt the need to continue using my planner like any other week.

Living day to day during the Coronavirus outbreak

Today’s Activities:

  • Fold Laundry
  • FaceTime Mom
  • Workout (SWEAT)
  • Write this Blog Post

After finishing up work today I FaceTimed my Mom again, we usually talk every day so it’s good to keep this normal routine.

My coworkers and I are starting to come to the conclusion that we’ll probably be working from home for the next 2 1/2 to 3 months.

Stay home and stay healthy everyone,
Hayle
