Crossing another item off of my Summer Beauty Wishlist… 😀
I’ve never been one to be very good at applying eyeliner. I’m a bit of a perfectionist some times so when I do use eyeliner it drives me crazy if there’s even the slightest imperfection. With that being said, I chose not to wear eye liner for a very long time, and even now it’s not in my every day makeup pile.
But for those special occasions when I do want to wear liner or have a winged eye, I needed an eyeliner that was very user friendly.
In the past I had used a simple automatic crayon pencil. Then for a while I was in love with Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil. And after that I heard Jaclyn Hill rave about Maybelline’s Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner and I tried that for a few.
Then I just gave up all together. I never felt that an eyeliner did what I was expecting it to do and I also felt it was a waste of money because of this.
I had heard so many positive comments about the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner that I finally caved and bought it. I had yet to try an eyeliner in this form and I was hoping that it was exactly what I needed. AND IT WAS! 😀
As with everything, practice makes perfect. But I easily learned how to work with this liner to create the eye look that I had been wanting and striving for this entire time!
To the left is a photo from the last time I used this eyeliner <3
Kat Von D’s makeup line is exclusively available at Sephora! Here is a link directly to the Tattoo Liner. This eyeliner costs $19. I think that this is a very reasonable price and is actually a bit cheaper than comparable items.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this post and my search for the perfect eyeliner!
