NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in the shade Vallarius – $45

I know I have been pretty absent blogging lately, school has sort of taken over at the moment. But hopefully when summer rolls around we’ll be moving full steam ahead! lol

So today, I wanted to talk about the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation! I use the shades Mont Blanc and Vallauris. Both sades have pink undertones, but I use Mont Blanc mostly in the winter months when I’m not as tan or I’m not using a self tanner. On the other hand, I use the Vallauris shade during the summer 🙂

Both match my complexion and undertones ridiculously well, I’ve never had a foundation that matches and blends as well as this one. It definitely evens out my complexion; I do ahve a bit of redness along each side of my nose and sometimes along my cheeks. I feel that after applying my foundation the redness disappears and I have an even color.

This foundation is definitely buildable. I personally tend to apply it more on the sheer side, using only 1 to 2 pumps for each application. I also like the fact that powders are easily blendable on top of this foundation. They truly are more pigmented upon first application, but blend out after a few buffs of a brush.

I do find that this foundation can be a bit sticky throughout my day if I do apply on the more full-coverage side and don’t apply a setting spray. Being in class for a few hours each day, I tend to rest my hands on my chin or against my cheeks. I’m always terrified that I’m going to wipe it away! They would probably be my only complaint about this foundation.

Foundation Pump – $6

One bottle can be a bit pricey, especially because if you’d like a pump you have to buy that separate. One bottle of foundation is $45 and then an additional $6 for the pump. The only justification I have for spending that much money on a foundation is that one, because I apply it quite sheer it lasts me forever. And two, I love it!

You can find the Sheer Glow Foundation on the NARS website or at Sephora (both online and in most stores). Unfortunately you can only buy the pump on the NARS  website, but every order has free shipping!

Below you’ll find a few pictures of me both before and after applying my foundation!

Have a wonderful day everyone!!!
