When you’re rushing between class or running short on time a snack is typically in your near future. But with junk food surrounding you it can be difficult to pick a healthy option. That chocolate chip cookie is calling your name. ?
Fruit is always a go-to option.
I know that at my university a lot of the food locations offer fruit cups. These are nice because you get a variety of fruit and it’s been kept cold for you. I know that I can be a bit picky about that, I love cold fruit!
- Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries, all the different berries! ?
- Cuties/Mandrin Organes
Veggies too 😉
If you’re looking for something that isn’t as sweet as fruit, veggies are also an option! Dip them in hummus for an extra savory flavor. I suppose ranch is okay too 😉
- Bell Peppers
- Broccoli or Cauliflower
- A small serving of Pasta Salad
- Crackers with Peanut Butter. YUM.
- Fruit & Yogurt Parfait
- A handful of Nuts (Pecans, Walnuts, Almonds, etc.)
- Raisins and/or Craisins
