Skin Care Routine {Winter 2015/2016}

With the new year underway I’ve been trying to focus more on my skin care. I’ve recently started a new skin care routine and I’m definitely loving it! I thought I’d share with you guys what products I’ve been using and a bit of what I think of them. In the picture above you’ll find my favorites of all the products I mention. Know that I would never mention a product that I don’t like, so you don’t have to worry about that. 🙂

The Makeup Removers.

Skin Care Routine

Yes To – Blueberries Cleansing Facial Wipes ($5.99)
I am a diehard fan of the Yes To Blueberry Facial Wipes. They are my goto make up remover and they’re gentle enough to use on my sensitive skin.

Yes To – Grapefruit Rejuvenating Facial Wipes ($5.99)
After falling in love with the Blueberry facial wipes I wanted to try another “flavor”. Grapefruit was next on my list and now I love them almost as much as I love the blueberry ones!

The Cleansers.

Skin Care Routine

Clarisonic – Mia 2 ($149.00), Mia 2 Keith Haring ($149.00)
I’m Super Duper excited about this! I got a Clarisonic for Christmas and have been loving it! The Keith Haring print on it is fabulous and makes me smile every time I see it!

Ole Henriksen – Empower Foaming Milk Cleanser ($26.00)
I recently discovered this cleanser as I was looking for something that was foaming but didn’t foam too much. It’s perfect for using it with the Clarisonic and it doesn’t irritate my skin!

First Aid Beauty – Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser with Red Clay ($24.00)
I haven’t used this too much, mostly just once or twice a week. I like to switch up my cleansers so that my skin doesn’t get acclimated to one. So far so good! A detailed review may be in the near future. 😉

Origins – GinZing Refreshing Scrub Cleanser ($19.50)
I love love love this scrub! I use this about once a week without the clarisonic.
It’s important to note that you shouldn’t use a scrub with a clarisonic as it can be too harsh or abrasive to your skin.

The Toner.

Skin Care Routine

Murad – Hydrating Toner ($28.00)
I’m truly enjoying this toner. It’s easy peasy as it’s in a spray bottle! 😉 My kind of gig. Having to use cotton rounds for a toner has always put me off, so when I found this baby I fell in love!

The Moisturizers.

Skin Care Routine

Neutrogena – Triple Age Repair Moisturizer ($20.49)
This is a great daytime moisturizer that has SPF.
Mentioned in another post here.

Neutrogena – Hydro Boost Water Gel ($18.99)
And this moisturizer is super hydrating!
Mentioned in another post here.

Origins – GinZing Energy-boosting Moisturizer ($27.50)
But this moisturizer is my favorite of them all! The scent alone is fantastic, the citrusy smell helps wake you up on those tired mornings. I use this moisturizer as a little treat for myself if I’m pampering my skin or need a little pick-me-up. 🙂

I hope you’ve enjoyed my updated Skin Care Routine!
